Language learning games when teaching english to young learners

The relevance of the study is due to need optimize teaching-learning process by reducing children’s stress and increasing their self-esteem via employing game-based techniques. It language learning games (LLG) that allow greater involvement beginners into educational process. purpose develop a model gamified English lesson, on basis which it possible conduct classes with younger students. research methods were method needs analysis (a questionnaire an oral test) pedagogical experiment. 20 teachers took part in survey, experiment involving 39 lesson based LLG has been developed tested. proved its effectiveness. number students experiencing difficulty demonstrating skills decreased significantly. Properly chosen had beneficial effect memorizing speech pattern words under study. demonstrated gamification incorporated foreign education contributes creation learner-centered environment, allows minimizing academic performance.
